Bioassays - Interview with Dr. Frederic Leusch about trigger values

In the interview, Frederic Leusch explains the advantages and shortcomings of the use of bioassays that still need to be tackled. Dr Leusch is programme leader for "Water Quality and Diagnostics" at the Smart Water Research Centre as well as senior lecturer at the School of Environment at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia. He worked in the frame of the Australian water recycling guideline on the application of bioassays in risk assessment. Within this legislation, Australia has already made advances in the acceptance of the use of bioassay for risk assessment in water quality questions. Frederic Leusch is member of the DEMEAU Project Advisory Committee.
